1st year students will have to part with a nominal study load of about 3300 EUR. For non-EU students, you’ll have to pay a yearly load of about 3300 EUR in advance (right before you start your study).
A tuition-fee waiver is simply a non-monetary scholarship that’s automatically granted to the best-ranked students, in respect to the points they earn in their admission course. A separate application is of no need and decisions are made depending on the DreamApply application.
This scholarship is awarded for the entire study course period. In case you are a successful recipient of this scholarship, Tallinn University of Technology expects you to enroll for a full-time study. If you start to pursue the study part-time, you’ll lose your tuition-fee waiver and start to pay for your study.

A-Level (High School/Secondary Education)
Tallinn University accepts entry qualification documents in either English or Estonian. Usually, you can get your hands on an appropriate transcript from your school of study. In case this is not a possibility, you’ll need official translations as well as verified duplicates of the original.

You will have to directly send verified duplicates of entry qualification documents to the university through the post mail (as per the institution’s instructions). Keep in mind – You should never send these original documents by post.
For you to be eligible for this course study, you’ll have to show your proficiency in English in at least one of the following tests:
- IELTS – a minimum overall grade of 5.5. You’ll have to attain an average grade of 5.5, or an equivalent of this in each component
- TOEFL – a minimum overall score of 72. You’ll have to at least score 18 in the reading test, 17 in listening, 20 in the speaking test, and at least 17 in the writing test component
- Cambridge English – a minimum overall grade of 160. You’ll at least have to score 160 in each component
- Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE A) – a minimum overall score of 51. You’ll have to score at least 51 in each component of Communicative Skills

- You’ll have to include a motivation letter in your application
- A Moodle online multiple choice test – it comprises of multiple choice questions to assess a candidate’s principal knowledge of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Candidates who pass this Moodle online multiple choice test will be subject to an online interview
Specific Requirements for Non-EU Students
For students who need to have a visa for entry to Estonia, you’ll have to separately apply for a Temporary Residence Permit at their regional Estonian Embassy.
